WHOLESALE TANNING

These are the three key areas that set us apart in the tanning industry:

1. QUALITY
We produce the BEST taxidermy leather in the industry. Our synthetic tan provides unequalled stretch with little to no shrinkage and maximum shelf life.

2. CUSTOMER SERVICE
We provide the BEST customer service in the industry. Our team offers the highest level of customer care and will treat you with the respect you deserve.

3. TURNAROUND TIME
We provide the BEST turnaround time in the industry. We average around 60 actual days. During peak seasons (Dec-Apr) we may go out to 100+ actual days.

Our strategy is simple... Not only do we take excellent care of our customers, we also take excellent care of our staff. This results in a very low turnover rate. That equals experienced employees, which in turn equals a high quality product and satisfied customers. That's why we can say... "There is no better tan"

HIDE PREPARATION & CARE

All specimens MUST be properly prepared before shipping to us.

1. Ears, lips, and eyes turned, and faces fleshed.

2. Properly flesh all red meat and heavy fat from skins. Without this being done the salt is not allowed to penetrate and set the hair on the hide.

3. Salt all specimens, leave for 24 hours and then re-salt. After another 24 hour period, shake off the excess salt and hang skins up to dry

4. Skins should be approximately 75% dry when shipped. Over drying may cause skins to become too brittle. Skins that are too wet when shipped may increase risk of mildew and/or slippage.

5. Please remove staples, nails, wires or metal tags. These items ruin our shaver's blades and slow them down considerably.

6. Place in cardboard box and ship to one of our receiving addresses below:

REHYDRATION INSTRUCTIONS

• For every 5 gallons of luke warm water, add 1 handful of salt
• Dissolve well and soak skins 1 to 2 hours, depending on how hard your water is. The harder the water, the longer the soaking time should be.
• Drain well and place them in a plastic bag to sweat over-night in a refrigerated area.
• For bears, soak only the head and paws. The rest of the bear can be sponged, thus keeping the hair dry and clean.
