From the time we recieve your
skins until the time we ship them back to you, we take
the utmost care to ensure the highest quality product available
in the tanning industry. |
Our
receiving department encodes and checks in
each skin within a few days of its arrival. A confirmation
is generated and mailed to you.
The
skins are then appropriately boxed and labeled by date
and species
in our well organized storage facility. |
The day your skins are pulled
to begin the tanning process, they are soaked in a bacteriacide
solution and then placed in a formic acid pickle. Unlike
other tanneries, we invoice at this stage. This gives
you approximately two weeks to pay your bill and allows
us to ship your order immediately upon completion. |
Our
shaving department is split into four areas of expertise:
North American, African/Exotics,
Bears, and Fine Fur. These individuals are highly skilled
in handling their respective animals because they work
with them every day. Quality control begins here as all
skins are checked for both pre existing problems and
shaving mishaps by our highly trained foremen. If a
problem is discovered you will be contacted immediately
to notify you of the situation. |
Once your skins have been tanned
using the highest quality syntan available, they are handed
over to our finish department. Skins are oiled, stretched,
dried, and run in drums and cages in a very precise and
consistent manner. |
After
final drying, skins are groomed both by hand and machine,
making them ready for shipping.
Our finished skins are pleasing to the eye, have a pleasant
smell, and most importantly, mount like a dream. There
is no other finished product like it in the industry. |
